Sales Development Representative
Sales Development Representative | Remote* | $22.50/hr. base + uncapped commission
Construction contractors on government projects must prove they paid prevailing wage, every week, on every job. If they get it wrong, they risk penalties, fees, and lost contracts. eBacon's software makes the process simple. Your job is to find the contractors who need us and book meetings for our regional account executives.
What you'll do
- Work your own dedicated database of construction contractors in HubSpot, calling and emailing to identify leads and set meetings.
- Schedule qualified appointments to AEs covering multiple states, targeting ten meetings per week.
- Learn how to talk about certified payroll and Davis-Bacon compliance from us. No construction background is needed.
- $22.50/hr base ($46K) plus uncapped commission, paid semi-monthly. First-year reps typically earn $6K to $12K in comission, and our top producer earned $24K in commission last year.
- Up to 6% 401(k) match, 15 days PTO, and a benefits allowance for medical, dental, vision, and life.
- Every Friday ends at 2:30pm!
- 1+ year of outbound phone sales or other high-volume phone work.
- Comfort with 100+ calls a day and hearing "no" without taking it personally.
- Clear, confident writing for follow-up emails.
- HubSpot or B2B SaaS experience is a plus.
Schedule: Mon to Thu 8am to 5pm, Fri 8am to 2:30pm, Arizona time (no daylight saving). This is a strong fit for candidates in Mountain or Central time.

eBacon is a financial technology company in Phoenix, Arizona, focused on certified payroll and fringe benefit management for the construction industry. Our development team is in-house, and we've won awards for customer service and for being one of Arizona's top places to work, several years running. Several of our reps have been with us 8 to 10 years. The work is serious, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We do have a bacon strip mascot.
